KOORI JOB READY COURSE
Funded by the Redfern-Waterloo Authority, the Koori Job Ready Course offers training in a range of construction subjects with a focus on gaining employment on constructions sites for graduates. Subjects in the course include:
- Electrical
- Construction carpentry
- Plumbing
- Boiler making
- Scaffolding
- Painting
- Brick Laying
- Fire sprinkler fitting
- Sheet metal works
- Landscaping
- Forklift driving
The Koori Job Ready Course is held over eight weeks at the Les Tobler Construction Centre, underneath the Yaama Dhiyaan Hospitality Training Centre at 255 Wilson Street Darlington. The course is full time and runs from 8:30am to 2:30pm.
Four courses are run throughout the year, with information days held onsite two weeks before the course commencement date.
